Trimming the dip tube: For an ideal fit, we recommend cutting the dip tube before securing on the bottle. We recommend removing the dip tube from the pump apparatus, measuring, then cutting with regular scissors. Our preferred dip tube length for 8 oz pump is 3.187 (3 3/16) inches. Our preferred dip tube length for 16 oz pump is 4.5 (4 1/2) inches. Reattach dip tube after trimming.
