Description

CDN wicks are wonderful for Natural Wax Blends. Treated with a second mineral salt bath, they tend to burn cooler than CD wicks in most waxes. CDN wicks curl to an approximate 30 degree angle, while CD wicks curl to a 90 degree angle. The lesser angle of the CDN wick tends to create a flame with a smaller base. These wicks are wonderful for nuanced wicking issues, allowing for a truly perfect burn.

Our CDN wicks are coated with 210 degree paraffin wax, which means that the wick will not be rendered raw when pouring at hot temperatures. This wick has a wide 20 mm base and a 6 mm safety neck.

Love Your Wicks!

Love the CDN 2's. I triple wicked the brown Animal Print vessel using the Coco Apricot wax, and achieved excellent pooling. I love all of your products!

Are these reviews real?

This review is for CDN 2 wicks, they’re by far the worst and overpriced wicks I’ve ever used. Won’t be purchasing from 1617 again. The wicks don’t dance, that’s the one star it gets. Other than that, double wicked there’s absolutely now scent through two hours or even four hours in.

We're sorry to hear you're having a hard time with the CDN wicks. It sounds like the issue is hot throw, so we're wondering if your candle was cured for two weeks. We suggest curing for two weeks to test for hot throw, (wick testing earlier is fine, but HT takes time to develop). Feel free to call our office if you'd like us to help trouble shoot.

Well structured wicks, great quality. These work beautifully with the Carousel and Moulin Rouge vessels. Truly fantastic wicks for Coconut Blend waxes. No soot or mushrooming. Thank you 1617.
