Lavender Cedar Candle Recipe - Coconut Wax
You will need:
- Copenhagen concrete bowl
- (3) CDN size 3 wicks
- 11.7 oz Coconut-Soy Pearl wax (Soy Bliss works well as a substitute!)
- 3 oz Lavender Cedar fragrance oil from Sweet Cakes
- Optional: 'The Bowls' Wik_Kit for easy wick placement + stabilization
Heat wax to approximately 215-225 degrees Fahrenheit. Please keep an eye on your wax while heating! Add 11.7 oz of heated wax to a pouring pitcher. Immediately add 1.3 oz Lavender Cedar fragrance oil and stir. You only need to stir for 20-30 seconds. Pour immediately into the Copenhagen bowl. Allow the candle to remain undisturbed for at least 8 hours until fully set. It is best to allow candles to cure for 2 weeks before testing. You may burn your candle earlier than 2 weeks, but the hot throw will not be fully developed.
