Fourth of July Candles!

Independence Day Coconut Wax Candles

This is a fun and easy candle making project that adds a pop of color to any room.

Watch the full video for complete instructions.

To make all 3 candles you will need:

22 oz Luxe Coconut Apricot Wax

3 CDN Size 5 Wicks

Prism Jars in ‘Rose’ and ‘Lapis’

Eclipse Jar in ‘Blanc’

0.8 oz Fruit Loops fragrance oil from Candle Science

0.8 oz High Tide fragrance oil form Candle Science

0.8 oz Rose Petals fragrance oil from Candle Science

Melt the Luxe Coconut Apricot wax until the temperature reaches 220 Fahrenheit.

While the wax is melting, place your wicks, (using wick stickers for adhesion), in the center of each jar. Stabilize the wicks before you pour.

Pour 7.2 oz of wax into your pouring pitcher and immediately add 0.8 oz of fragrance oil. Stir for about 20 seconds and pour into the jar. Repeat with the remaining two jars.

Allow your candle to fully cool before moving it. It’s acceptable to wick test the next day, but to test for hot throw, you must allow the candle to cure for up to 2 weeks.

Don’t forget to fully test your candle for safety before selling it or giving it away.

Happy Making!
